Park City Getaway

We decided to run away for Pioneer Day weekend, but we wanted to stay close. Park City seemed like a fun destination. We had tickets to the Salt Lake Real game on Saturday, so we had to be able to easily get to our game. We drove up Friday evening and enjoyed a relaxing weekend.
We went to the Olympic Sports Park on Saturday. They were having "Western Days" and an aerial ski jumping show. They practice their ski jumps into a pool of water. We were in awe at the amazing jumps they were able to do. The coolest jumps involved a coordinated jump with 5 jumpers at the same time going up and into the pool. The soccer game was fun as usual with the Real winning yet again. Plus, they had a fireworks show--a good one this time. Maybe we should invest in some season tickets next year...

We took a stroll through the outdoor Farmer's Market booths and spent any free time we had swimming. It was a relaxing and fun escape.
