An Amazing Vacation

We had an opportunity to go on an amazing vacation with the kids and grandparents this summer. We went out to Florida and went on a cruise. It was a blast and wish we lived closer to the coast so we could do it more. We all love the beach but live inland, hmmm. Anyway, hope you enjoy the pictures below. It was hard finding just a few to post.
The kids were really anxious to get there. Who wouldn't be! :)

We were in a tourist trap store goofing around the day before we left. Both said they could be captain.

Here is the boat that we were on. It was huge, but Julie did not get lost once.

Formal dinners at night were a lot of fun. The dinners every night were great!

Nicole and Zack enjoying the view as we leave Florida.

Florida beaches!

Great sunsets every night.

We had 2 pools on the boat and they were always packed.

We were on the boat as the Olympics were going. This was a great time to go as there was always something on the big screen TV. When America had a big event the place would be packed and erupt when the races started or ended. That was a lot of fun. Glad we got to watch the volleyball there.

Enjoying the view with the Grandparents
We went on an excursion in Mexico to Chichen Itza. That was an amazing place. Interesting stories in and about the place.

They actually really liked all the stories.

Dancing wherever and whenever was allowed.

Hey Zack, watch our stuff while we go swimming, OK? Sure Grandpa, no problem...

Hot tubs all over the place

Zack was the only one that slept!

Yes that is a water slide on our boat!

Zack fell asleep on the deck. Doh!

OK, dad slept a bit too.
Another excursion that we had was going on a zip line. Even the grandparents had a lot of fun doing this.

VERY cool! How long was the cruise? A week? I must have missed that point...but what a great thing for the grandparents to do with you guys!! We are hoping to do another cruise with my parents for their 50th in a few years...we did the shorter Pacific Mexican side for their 40th--before Shan's divorce, etc. but the kids had a GREAT time then too. They'd like it even more now. Super fun!!
