Ohio Trip

Less than 48 hours after officially moving in to our house, Julie and the kids took a trip to Ohio to visit the Franklin family. It was difficult to leave a partially moved in house, but so nice to have a break and spend time with the family.
We arrived just in time to celebrate Uncle Glenn's birthday.
We decided to have the cousins pose for a picture together. Zack had to be one of the first up the tree.
Uncle Glenn and Uncle Daryl help block the sun for the pictures.
We tried Brown Bag burgers for lunch. Their burgers were delicious. The following day we had pastrami and corned beef sandwiches from Slyman's Deli. It was the best pastrami I have ever tasted.
A trip to Ohio is not complete without a trip to the beach. We spent the afternoon at Huntington Beach. The kids had fun digging and building.
The kids called their newly created city Freedonia.
Nicole cut the grass for Grandma and accidentally gave a baby bunny an ear cut.
Zack helps dig a hole for Grandma's new apple tree.
The adults take a trip to the Columbus temple to do work on the Franklin family line.
Multiple games of Bang were played.

It was a quick, but fun trip. We returned and spent the next week unpacking storage units and boxes trying to settle our home.
