On the peak of the roof is an owl. We were outside the other night around 8 pm and an owl swooped over our heads and landed on the peak of our neighbor's roof. After a minute, it flew into the tree just north of that house. I hope this means we won't have to worry about mice. Hopefully with the owl and Bob, the mice will be nonexistent. (See previous post to understand who Bob is.)
