The Phone Call

Early Tuesday morning, around 4:50 a.m., we got a phone call from Zack. He called from the airport while he was waiting to board his flight. We all huddled around the phone which we put on speaker so we could hear him and talk to him. All of us were half asleep, but was wonderful to hear his voice. He was excited to be leaving for California and very upbeat. Around 5:30, he had to go to board his flight.
