This week, my 3rd Grade Team won the "Accent on Excellence" Award. This is an award given by the Alpine School District and the Alpine Foundation every year to 1 team in the district. There are 300 teams in our district. We were lucky enough to be nominated, but thrilled to receive the award on Monday. We were thrilled. I am so blessed to work with amazing teachers and an outstanding school. Most of all, I am so glad I get to work with a phenomenal group of teachers on my own team.

With this award comes a special dinner honoring 10 individual teachers in our district as well as my team. One of our 1st grade teachers received the individual teacher award. There are 3,000 teachers in our district. I find it impressive that our team and a teacher won. Sage Hills is the best place to be.
