Nicole's Birthday Cake

Nicole's 19th birthday is Tuesday, but she will be up at school that day. We decided to celebrate this weekend while she was home. She chose city street design and tried to incorporate Italy into this design. Julie baked and assembled the cake. Then, she made the frosting and sealed in the crumbs. Nicole took over and tried to turn her cake into a masterpiece. The bottom is a city street in Italy with arches, flower boxes, and cobblestone streets. The top is the Coliseum. She made an assortment of browns to do the Coliseum and city building walls, but it was difficult to see the differences. The blue on top is the sky. It turned out looking fabulous and tasted yummy!
