After returning from Rome, Nicole became very hyperfocused on getting a new kitty. She wanted to be able to bond with it this summer before she went back to school. She asked what had to happen before we got a new one. The furniture needed to be cleaned, carpets cleaned, and house cleaned to get rid of Powder's hair and smell. She researched how to clean a couch from pet stuff and took the initiative to do it. Then, she vacuumed, moved furniture, rented a carpet cleaner, and cleaned the carpets. After all that, we decided to go see the kittens at the Humane Society.

Apparently, it is kitty season and there were many kitties to choose from. We chose one and named him Flash. The name was very fitting because he is so speedy and runs all over. It has been a long time since we had a little kitten around. He likes to be where we are and will follow us around.

| Day 1 |
He will sleep in unusual positions. He likes to be near necks and held like a baby. He was really small when the shelter got him, so they had to feed him with an eyedropper then a bottle. We think that may be why he likes to be held like a baby.
