School started today. The kids were nervous and excited. This is the first day of Nicole's final year in elementary school. She is feeling quite excited to be a 6th grader. Zack was happy to be an 8th grader. He was glad he wasn't a newbie this year. Although, he said he hoped he was not mistaken for a "sevie" (7th grader) because he is small.Thursday, August 20, 2009

First days of school blow....
They are both so grown up looking! Those cute little kids are now cute mature kids :-)
It's a very hard thing to see these kids grow up! I am very sad in a way because I don't have elementary aged kids anymore. I will have a high schooler next year. Yikes!
Holy cow! I am getting old. They are both supposed to still be little kids. What happened to my Niki? I think it is great she is as tall as her brother!
