The 4th of July started off with Zack's Eagle Court of Honor. We scheduled it for this day knowing my sister and her family would be in town. The simple ceremony was shared with friends, family, and ward members honoring Zack's achievement. We learned less than 1% of boys world wide earn this award. We are very proud of him for being one of the few.
Next, we had home made pizza and Daryl's famous wings. Yummmmmm.We decided to go see the Salt Lake Real game that evening. Rain clouds were threatening during the entire game. The cloud cover lessened the heat to make the game enjoyable. The Real tied 3-3 in spite of some lousy calls.
With all the fireworks shows in the area, we had a military refueling plane fly over the stadium. After the game, they had a fireworks display. Oooh! Aaaaah! It was very fun.
