There's Nothing Wrong with Ohio....

Last summer, we were unable to squeeze in a trip to Ohio. I was determined to go this summer, but it seems like schedules get so busy with camps, swimming, Driver's Ed classes, youth conferences, etc, it took some work to find a workable long week. We went June 11th and stayed until the 21st. Since Keith had taken a week off to attend girl's camp, he was unable to take an additional week to accompany us on the trip. The kids and I had a great time with the family. Here are some of the things we did:

Watched my favorite all-star play.

Roasted marshmallows and had s'mores in the back yard. Took a couple trips to the beach.

Went to the zoo to see the new meerkat exhibit.

Played games.

Visited the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

Watched the sunset over Lake Erie and simply enjoyed being together.
