Back in Black

March 16 was the home opener for Real Salt Lake. Before the game, Nick Rimando, the goalie, was honored for earning his career 100th game shut out. The guy has amazing skills. The best part was to see him back in black again. Last year, the league would not let him wear his favorite black.
They played the Colorado Rapids. The off season had many changes to our roster and it was fun to watch the new guys. Oh, how I love this team!
Kyle Beckerman has a beautiful kick that just misses the goal.

In a strange fluke of a play, Kwame Watson-Siriboe goes up to head the ball while the goalie tries to get it. Kwame's head collides with the goalie's arm breaking both bones.
Pre-game or half huddle

Chris Wingert-he is out after a foot surgery, but was there to support the team.

Nat Borchers back in action for the reserve game.

Next home game is tomorrow vs. the Seattle Sounders. I love game day!!
