Nicole set a goal for herself at the beginning of the swim season to make it to the State Championship Meet this year. Her best strokes this season are the breast stroke and free style. She worked hard specifically to shave seconds off her times for these events. Last week, her coach asked her to swim in the Medley and Free Relays for the state competition. She was ecstatic!
Last night, she swam the Medley Relay. There were gobs of people there to cheer on their children and teammates. We were standing on the very last row of bleachers in the upper deck. I am so glad I have a good zoom lens. She did great and is excited to go back tonight to swim in the Free Relay.
