Utah Summer Games

For her birthday present this year, Nicole wanted to participate in the Utah Summer Games. She signed up for 7 different events, paid the meet and registration fees. She was very excited to going and even worked out almost every day while we were in Ohio to prepare for this meet.

We drove down Thursday morning. She had 3 days of meets with warm ups starting at 1:00 and the meets ending around 6-6:30 pm. There was a lot of sitting and waiting, but she's worth it. :)
The calm, smooth like glass pool before the gets get in for warm ups.
E=event, H=heat, L=lane
She raced in 7 different events. She swam the 200 IM, 100 Back, 50 Free, 50 Breast stroke, 200 Breast stroke, 100 Breast stroke, and 100 Free style. Her favorite stroke is the breast stroke.
Nicole models her new awards.
Not bad, 5 out of 7 events she earned a medal. She was very proud and excited about her awards. She got 2 bronze, 2 silver, and 1 gold. The gold medal was for the 200M breast stroke. She was seeded last out of the girls in her age bracket. She ended up beating all of them to earn the gold. It was awesome and she was so proud of herself.
