"I'm alright...." Do you remember the Kenny Loggins song from Caddyshack? Do you remember Caddyshack and the battle Bill Murray fought? If you answered yes, you may know the direction this blog is headed. Late in the fall, we noticed some mysterious and annoying mounds of dirt in the flower beds. We figured it was some annoying rodent and we would deal with it in the spring.
This morning, I was cleaning up the breakfast dishes in the sink when I noticed a mound of dirt by the cherry tree. Not only was there a mound of dirt, but it was growing. I saw a little critter which looked like a gopher.

Keith ran over and borrowed a smoke bomb from our friend and tried to take care of this little guy. The hole is covered up and there has been no movement. We are hoping the smoke got him. I am assuming that where there is one, there will be more.
Later in the moring, Keith's friend sent him a text that he noticed a mound of dirt in his yard.....

I have never seen Caddyshack (it was a little before my time) but I do know about critters in and around the house. I really hope the smoke bomb took care of it!
