Last week we had fabulous warm spring weather. I love that. I especially love seeing this:
Blossoms on my cherry tree, perennials coming back to life, and lilacs blooming on the bush by my bedroom window. I will soon be able to smell lilacs when I am in my room. I love that!

Our lilacs are just starting to bloom also with our hot weather. I guess you do not have a choice about liking lilacs after growing up with the lilac bedroom. Just a little bit of Illinois in all of us. The heat has distroyed the tulipa and magnolias, along with wilting us. The word verification is "flute" and some letters.... In honor of your skill?
