We went back to Ohio

We arrived in Ohio on Christmas Day. Zack and Keith flew on a different itinerary than the girls. The girls arrived early and with no problems. The boys were delayed in Cincinnati for 4 1/2 hours. Bummer. At least they made it in time for the baptism the following morning.

Our nephew, Andrew, was baptized on the 26th. It was a different kind of baptism than I have ever seen. The piano was played and music lead by Andrew's 11 year old sisters. The talks were given by Zack and Tyler, Andrew's 14 year old cousins. The musical number was sung by all the other cousins. It was quite a unique and great baptism. The talks were so amazing especially coming from a couple of teenagers.

After the baptism, we had the family lunch in the gym. Since the boys had arrived late the previous night, we hadn't been able to open presents. The kids could barely stand it. We had to wait until everyone was at Grandma's house after the lunch. While waiting, the kids sorted all the presents.

Other highlights of the week: family photos including dinner at 5 Guys, the boys got remote control little helicopters to fly around , only 4 out of 16 people caught the stomach flu, twister, pizza and wings (mmmmm), games, cousin sleepovers, Omnimax movie, trip to the science center, snow, building towers, paparazzi, Nerf dart gun attack, Wii games, crafts, movie and popcorn night, board games...and so on.

Twister, anyone? Anyone?

Trip to the Science Center

Zack and Nicole had a shocking experience!

Girl cousin sleepover. I remember when we used to call it the princess sleepover. I guess they are all too old for that now.

The builders begin.

Can you tell it's a chicken?
Uncle Keith got to be the bad guy, gunless, chasing the boys around.
Yummmmmmm! Amy and Glenn's pizza and Daryl's wings. We look forward to this meal all year long!!!! Happy New Year's Eve.

Cousin hugs. See you all next year!
Congratulations! You made it through the many, many pictures. If you got this far, you must be family :)

Looks like it was great trip. Cousins are the best. So glad Z & N got to see theirs!
