Another Pioneer Day, another Cul-de-Sac of Fire. Our neighborhood rotates from block to block in about 4 cul-de-sac areas every year and this year, the festivities were held in our cul de sac. We had food, drinks, water balloons, sidewalk chalk, neighbors, and fireworks--who could ask for more? It was fun. Sparkler fun When your cul de sac hosts, you are in charge of the firework display. The ironing board gets passed from block to block with the honor of lighting off the fireworks. Not bad for a neighborhood display!
I love that the ironing board gets passed along. Super evening for all, no doubt. Ours was much smaller as one family is going through a divorce, and another was hosting their first's mission farewell the next morning...Cam & the boy were fireworks crazy, and loved it all.
