Our upstairs carpet is gross. The bedrooms still have the original carpet from when we moved in--which is a long time ago. We decided to replace the carpet in the kids rooms with wood floors first. We bought some bamboo flooring to go in Nicole's room. Before we left on our trip, Nicole started emptying her room. When we got back, we emptied the rest of her room. The living room and family room look like her bedroom threw up all over. In 4 days, we were able to remove the carpet, install the new flooring, paint the closet, install baseboards in the closet, touch up paint her room, and get her almost all moved back in. Her room looks great!
I have to admit, the new floors look fabulous. Zack's room is next.
