With Spring Break came the ever pressing need to get out of Lehi and take a break. We decided to go somewhere warm and sunny. Beachy wasn't in the cards or finances so we ended up driving to Phoenix, Arizona. Why? Because we could and we've never been there as a family. We wanted warm with a pool. Since we found a good hotel deal, it was a no brainer. The Friday before we left, it snowed. This made us even more anxious to get to 80-90 degree weather. We drove down Saturday and spent 2 days sight seeing in the morning and swimming in the afternoon. It was a nice distraction from the day to day expectations. We spent some time at the Mesa temple.
We stopped at Arizona State University and walked around their campus and shopping area.
On the way home, we stopped to see the Hoover Dam. That is a very cool place to visit. We returned very relaxed.
