Region Swim Meet

Saturday, January 30th was officially Nicole's last high school swim meet. It had some sadness to see the end. She swam out of her mind in this meet receiving personal bests for each race. She was in the zone and said she couldn't really remember her races. I have never seen her swim with such a sense of urgency, almost like she had something to prove. It was fun to watch and we are glad she went all out for her last races.

 The annual tradition is that the girls color their hair or part of their hair purple since the team colors are purple and white. The boys shave their heads. Nicole decided to try the purple this year. It washed out after a few days.
