For many years, our neighborhood has had a "Cul-de-sac of Fire" on July 24th. The fireworks and festivities rotate annually to one of 4 cul-de-sac areas. Every street gets a year to play host. On Independence Day, the city of Provo hosts a "Stadium of Fire" at the BYU football stadium. This is where our "Cul-de-Sac of Fire" name stems from.
In Utah, July 24th is Pioneer day and is celebrated with almost as much enthusiasm as the 4th of July. My children and many in the neighborhood look forward to annual show. This year did not disappoint. We had good food, good friends, and good fireworks.
Sadly, Zack could not attend this year since he was at scout camp for the week. It wasn't the same without him.
