Second semester has come to and end. Both kids brought home straight A's once again. Yippee! They were able to choose where we went for dinner to celebrate their success. We went to Cafe Rio, yum! Zack will be able to attend the Honor Roll celebration again. They are going to Classic Skating. He enjoys being able to get out of school for these parties. He attended the zero absence party last week and won a new radio in the drawing. He is enjoying some of the perks of junior high.
We are currently enjoying the January inversion. Basically, it is snow+sun+no storms=trapped pollution in the valleys or inversion. We still have snow on the ground, we have had sunshine, but no storms for about a week. So, we have this inversion. It gets foggy, hazy, and cold. The air quality in Utah County the past few days has been red, which is bad. To get away from the inversion, you can go up into the mountains above the trapped pollution. Usually, the temperature is warmer as well. We decided we needed to do something in the mountains this weekend.

Way to go on the straight A's--I'm so proud of you two! Keep up the great work.
