Waking Up in Vegas

The last night of our vacation was spent in The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. The room was a very nice suite with a sunken living room area and the kids were thrilled with having 2 big screen tvs in the room.

This is the view from the window. We could see the volcano from the Mirage. We checked in, had dinner and gelato....mmmmmm.

We were only there one night and then we headed home. On our drive we hit a major blizzard and it took us an extra 1 1/2 hours to get home. There were some white knuckle moments, but we made it home safely and had to return to the real world.
