Food, license plates, parrots, pirates, & ice water

While in Florida, Grandma and Grandpa took us to some fun restaurants. We tried Mrs. Mac's Fillin' Station. This is a car themed restaurant. We were waited on by "model T". She gave us our menus which were in between license plates. Our silverware came with oil rags as napkins. They had license plates from every state hanging on the walls and even in the bathrooms.

We also ate at Archie's, a local favorite. Where else can you eat with a parrot (yes, a real parrot was in the restaurant with a customer), pirates and get ice water when you ask for lettuce? Naturally, Nicole went directly to the parrot. She talked to the owner and was able to hold the parrot. Later, she asked our server for some lettuce to put on her burger. Before Nicole even finished her request, the server said she would bring her a glass of ice water. I was adventurous and had the dolphin melt. It came highly recommended from Uncle Brian. I have to say it was very yummy!

Looks like a fun restaurant. I do not think I would be brave enough to try the dolphin. Andrew says he misses you.
